Preservation and Digitization

The Price Library of Judaica is committed to preserving its materials through environmental controls, including regulated temperature, humidity, and dust levels. When content preservation takes precedence over the original physical format, materials may be replaced with electronic versions.

Whenever feasible, materials are digitized and made accessible through the Library’s Jewish Diaspora Collection. Items at risk of deterioration may be prioritized for digitization to ensure long-term preservation. Original formats are retained whenever possible.
